We are excited to have you visit First Baptist Church of Jackson, LA! We are a church built on the love of God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We aim to extend that love to church members and visitors alike.
Our morning service is about one hour long, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following announcements, the Pastor will call the congregation to worship with Scripture reading and a pastoral prayer. Keep Reading >>
What Can I Expect?
The congregation will then join together in singing three or four hymns, interspersed with Scripture reading.
The Pastor will then preach from God’s Word for about 30-40 minutes, bringing to us to the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The service usually ends around 11:00 am, after which many choose to stay awhile and fellowship with one another. We love our church community, and we invite you to join us this week as we worship the Lord together!
We do not all dress the same. Some dress formally, while others dress more casually, but we all join together to honor and worship the Lord.
